High Voltage thanks everyone that donated to our Back to School Supply Drive using our Walmart Registry. Our goal in hosting this drive is to provide school supplies for 250 students during our Back to School Giveaways. There are three ways to participate in this campaign.

Seniors in various New Orleans neighborhoods are sketching Legacy Trees, painting, crafting, and honoring the people who shaped us, the values that guide us, and the legacy we’re building together!

Join High Voltage, NORD, other community partners for our annual Easter Extravaganza on March 28 along the Laffitte Greenway from 11:00- a. m. until 2:00 p.m. RVSP is required.

2025: OUR YEAR IN REVIEW HIGHLIGHTS!

High Voltage continues “Legacy Lines,” a six-week creative aging initiative teaching journaling and drawing to seniors in New Orleans. Participants record memories, cultural traditions, and family histories through mixed-media journaling. Rooted in the city’s storytelling legacy, the project empowers older adults to preserve their voices and share wisdom across generations. A final exhibition will showcase participants’ work, celebrating resilience and cultural pride.

Thanks to our generous donors that made our annual Senior Thanksgiving Celebration a wonderful event! Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday—and now, Giving Tuesday—the giving season is here!

High Voltage & Time with Ty presented a Legacy Journaling and Art workshop. It was beautiful to watch our senior artists reflect on the people, moments, and memories that shaped who they are.

High Voltage participated in a Boys Town Community Baby Shower, which was an awesome event supporting young families.

As we begin our Fall events, thanks to everyone who helped make our Still Blooming: Treme Lafitte Katrina Day of Resilience, a success.
